A few years back, I had a utility sink installed in my basement studio and it made all the difference in the world. All the copper pieces need to be scrubbed before enameling and in the pre-sink days, that meant a lot of running up and down the stairs to have access to water.

Although the utility sink has been a great addition to the studio, the height and position of it added to the shoulder pain I’ve been dealing with for a while; it was time for some adjustments. Once we decided on putting in a new sink (a counter height bathroom sink, to be precise), it just didn’t feel right not to go ahead and pretty up the whole area.  I love how it turned out and can’t help but share the results!

Well, it’s been a busy few weeks around here putting together a nice batch of enamel goodies to send out to one of our favorite galleries, POPPY, in time for the Artrageous Friday event on April 23rd. Better yet, I will be there in person as Poppy’s featured artist for the April Artrageous Friday.

Ashleigh wore her grandmother’s 3-strand pearl necklace along with matching pearl earrings and bracelet for an elegant look; for her 8 bridesmaids, she decided to go with bold color accessories to offset the simple pewter halter dress. Based on the color palette she had chosen for her wedding, we settled on the mixed dots bracelet, round ruffles earrings and the star flower ring. In true ZN fashion, the bracelets and earrings were reversible crafted with the wedding colors on one side and personalized on the reverse side for each bridesmaid.
